RD Registered Dietitian
Supporting you in the process of improving your quality of life by scaling down chronic pain through person-centred nutrition care.
I am a Registered Dietitian who believes that everyone living with chronic pain deserves to be healthy and strong to enjoy life and their favourite activities with as little compromise as possible.
My extensive experience working in clinical nutrition allows me to support people through nutrition and lifestyle changes to optimize their health while considering specific nutritional challenges that come with living with chronic pain. I combine this with my personal experience of supporting my partner who suffers with chronic pain to create a comprehensive and companionate nutrition strategy that works for you.
Chronic Pain Dietitian
In addition to the requirements to become a Registered Dietitian, I have a bachelors degree in social sciences with a minor in psychology from the University of Ottawa (2016). I am also a member of the Dietitians of Canada.

Working almost 4 years in a Family Health Team, I worked with people living with conditions causing chronic pain and inflammation from fibromyalgia and arthritis to severe accidents. At many occasions, I noticed how much nutrition care is crucial to help prevent or manage many health issues that come with these conditions.
From brain fog, lack of energy, difficulty to focus and mood swings to stomach issues, chronic pain creates many challenges that significantly impacts someone's ability to maintain a balanced diet or consider changing their lifestyle habits. The possibility of improving quality of life through nutrition care and a food first approach motivate me as a dietitian.
Living with someone who suffers from chronic pain, I know how challenging it can be to live with this condition. Chronic pain has no face, unlike someone who has a visible physical disability, you can't always see from the outside that someone is living with it. With group programs or one on one (1:1) support, I make sure small and realistic changes are targeted to improve the mind-body connection that is key in pain management to maintain your quality of life.
I look forward to supporting you!
