The owner uses all reasonable means at its disposal to ensure quality access to the site and the tools that permit interaction but is under no obligation to do so at all times.

All information on this site, including documents, courses, materials, products, and content from affiliated sites if applicable, may not be reproduced, duplicated, published, recorded, transmitted or distributed in any way whatsoever.

3. SALE OF PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES

i)Products

We may sell or distribute free of charge goods such as online courses, menus or written resources ('product(s)’) or allow third parties to sell goods or publish on our site.

We are committed to being as accurate as possible with respect to any product information, including product descriptions and product images. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any product-related information and you recognize and agree that the purchase or use of such products is at your own risk. All product descriptions or product prices may change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion.

(ii)Services

We can also sell services such as consultations or workshops. You must pay for a consultation by the end of the consultation. Appointments may be moved or cancelled at no cost if cancellation or moving to another time and date takes place 24 hours or more before the scheduled time for the consultation. If the cancellation or rescheduling of a consultation occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of the consultation, you will have to pay the full fee of the consultation according to the fees for individual consultations.

For other non-individualized services you must pay according to the terms published on the site.

It is also possible to pay in advance or ask to make a special arrangement. The acceptance of an agreement for a particular payment is at our discretion

We reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time except in cases where the provision of services is covered by a particular written contract between Emma Lacombe and a third party providing for a fixed term. The  terms and conditions of any written contract will take precedence over the terms and conditions of the site in the event of a conflict or contradiction.

 

4. PAYMENT

When you make a purchase on the site, check the details of the transaction as the initial price excludes taxes, fees and shipping costs, as the case may be, for which you are responsible.
 

When you make a payment through a payment service we use (e.g. credit card, interac, PayPal), you will be charged the full amount on the payment instrument you have designated for the transaction. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction if we are of the opinion that the transaction violates these terms and conditions of use.

5. SHIPPING, DELIVERY AND RETURN POLICY FOR A PRODUCT

When you purchase a product you agree to provide us with a valid email address and delivery address as well as valid billing data. We may require additional information before confirming the sale and reserve the right to place any additional restrictions on the sale of our products. There is no refund.

Users are required to read the description of products, programs or services and ensure that they have all the technological requirements for viewing and using these products, programs or services before placing their order.

 

6. ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE SITE

You agree not to use the site in any way that could adversely affect this site and the services or business activity of Emma Lacombe. You also agree not to use the site for the following purposes:

9.CONSULTATIONS OUTSIDE QUEBEC AND ONTARIO

Emma Lacombe is a dietitian who is a member of the Ordre Professionnel des Diététistes du Québec in accordance with the Quebec Professional Code and a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Consultations outside Quebec or Ontario should be considered as a web consultation with a dietitian who is a member of the Professional Order of Quebec or Ontario acting in this capacity and not as a member of an order from another province or country.


10. LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

We may post links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for any damage or loss related to the use of third-party services that are linked to our website.


11. INDEPENDENCE OF CLAUSES

If one of these clauses is recognized as illegal, declared null or void, in whole or in part, the unenforceable portion will not affect the validity and applicability of the other terms of these terms of use.
